Belfort was a life-changing experience for me! I had the pleasure of meeting people from different cultures and lifestyles through my colleagues, who became lifelong friends. Attending UTBM was an eye-opening experience, as I saw how learning can be engaging and how knowledge can be applied across various fields. Belfort gave me new perspectives, new plans, and new opportunities. What I loved the most about the city was its excellent connectivity to other places, allowing me the privilege of visiting cities in France, Switzerland, and Germany. Experiencing the way people live—from their traditions to the well-organized systems they follow—was truly amazing. I would encourage everyone to have the courage to step out of their comfort zone and embrace this kind of life-changing experience at least once in their lives.

Amar TINJAK, student at University of Sarajevo who came for an exchange semester at UTBM in spring 2024.
